Sure it's cute to look at, but has a major flaw, May 5, 2011

I've had this stroller for about 6 months and while I get compliments everywhere I go, I am really upset its not as functional as it should be.
First, the basket is tiny. The seat is so low that it makes access to the basket very difficult. The biggest issue though are the front wheels. They lock every time you ride on uneven pavement. It may not seem like a big deal, but I had to stop about 6 times in a two block walk to unlock the wheels. Don't waste your good money on this stroller.

Mamas and Papas was gone from the country for a few years and I am super glad that they are back. The Urbo is one of the three strollers available now, and my fave.

Little details made me love this stroller. Immediately, I noticed that the grip on the handle is LEATHER. Not that foam stuff that eventually rips and gets all cruddy. It feels great when you push the stroller and is nice and cushy.

This is a full-sized stroller, but it does not weigh a ton. It is not lightweight by any means, but it is very manageable. The basket is also super accessible, if not huge.

I love the European styling - you can flip the seat to face you or have it face forward, and you can use a Graco car seat (or Maxi Cosi, I think) for those baby days. They also have an optional bassinet for this stroller if you want to go that route.

Most importantly to me was the fact that I didn't have to be shown how to collapse the stroller. I figured out how to turn the seat, recline the seat, and collapse the stroller, on my own - all in about five minutes. It is extremely simple.

I think this is a great stroller to use for every-day, especially in urban areas (hence the name?). It also pushes like a dream - one of the only four wheel strollers that pushes like a three-wheeler, in my opinion.

After giving our large travel system to a family member, I still wanted to have a lightweight stroller for our 2 year old for walks, visits to the mall or zoo, etc. Since he's two I didn't want to put a ton of money into something that we wouldn't be using all the time.

I checked out all of the lightweight strollers in this price range (<$50), and this was one of the few that offered both child and parent trays plus a basket underneath. My mom had bought this stroller when my son was born to keep in her car, and since she liked hers so much I figured I would get the same one. They must have updated the model because there are a few things I dislike about this version:

- There isn't a window on the canopy (as her model has). Not a huge deal, but some people with younger babies might want one.
- It's hard to use the drink holder/parent tray when the canopy is pulled back because it covers the tray. I just leave the canopy slightly open, but still a strange decision they made logistically.
- The canopy doesn't come down as far as the prior model, so more sun gets in.

The pros still outweigh the cons. It's easy to set up and assemble, lightweight and doesn't look cheap. It is a little 'stiff' to maneuver, but I got used to it quickly. I think you'd have a hard time finding another lightweight stroller this nice for the same price.

DECENT SMALL STROLLER, January 27, 2011

We purchased this stroller for our 18 month old daughter for vacation at our local walmart for $40. It is very nice all things considered. Vented seat so the kid doesn't get too hot, the canopy rotates down, folds very small, the parent organizer is good, I wouldn't put anything besides a sippy cup or bottled water in it though. It does not recline at all, but she is still comfy. It served the purpose, but still wanted the full size stroller as well.

The Evenflo stroller arrived in record time and was exactly what I wanted. I've been using it for my granddaughter. It's wonderful!! Highly recommend it to keep in your car so it's alway handy whenever you need it. It's much better than the smaller umbrella strollers that you can get for $20 - this one is lightweight, but sturdy & comfy. Well worth the price.

This stroller barely made it across country let alone being in the back of an SUV. Not as good quality materials as stated and the clasps in front break easily. Major pain in the butt to close.

I got this stroller in summer 2009. I loved the stroller and had no complaints - the ease of folding and opening was particularly great. I did run into a BIG problem this past winter, though, when my daughter was around 16 months. When weather started getting cooler and she started getting more bundled up, I could no longer get the shoulder harness straps around her and snapped. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong, and I loosened them as far as they would go with no luck. At her age and with all the steep hills and curbs in my town it was not safe to use only the hip harness with no shoulder straps. Finally I called the company directly. Their customer service people were as nice as could be, and they admitted to me that with the cooler weather they were starting to get these calls. I was definitely not the only one. They said that they were "working on the problem" but that there was absolutely NOTHING they could do for me. No refunds, no fixes. They also said that the straps were "industry standard" length. I asked why then I see toddlers in huge jackets riding around in maclarens all the time, and they said that it was possible that maclaren made the straps a little longer than "industry standard". I asked what I could possibly do, since I had bought this as my only stroller and now would be unable to use it all winter, and they again very apologetically said there was nothing they could do and suggested I try selling it on craigslist. Please check with the company that they have dealt with this issue before buying one of these strollers. If you are buying the 2009 version, I would reconsider unless you live in a year-round warm climate.

I was looking for a versatile stroller that would be good for traveling as well as for every day use for errands. We decided on the G-Luxe and are really glad we did. The stroller is really light, reclines to a nice sleeping position (you can even do it while your little one is sleeping) and the sunshade on the 2010 model pops out much further than other umbrella strollers. We used it on a week long trip to Hawaii and thought it was great. It was easy to push up and down hills, easy to store and the stand up feature was useful in the airport, etc. My husband likes it so much he keeps sneaking it out of my trunk to use at home rather than our Bugaboo... The stroller has a good recline, so I think you could use it from 3-4 months up, but it isn't for newborn use as there's no attachment.

I have no reservations recommending this, but try to get the 2010 model rather than the 2009 if you live in a sunny climate as the shade was improved.

I love this stroller. Great quality, lightweight, lots of storage, adjustable handles perfect for me 5' and husband 6'3". The kids love it too. We have been enjoying ours for 6 years now with our 3 kids.
