I’ve heard lots of people raving about this stroller. They give it a perfect score, 5.0 out of 5.0. I haven’t got the time, though, to check if it really deserves its marks. Thanks for this post.

This jogger is easy to assemble and more importantly, moves very well when running. The safety harness has adjustable straps and hooks to ensure a safe fit as your child grows and the cargo net on the back is handy for those bits whilst out on a run. highly recommended.

I absolutely love this stroller (I have red). As a previous reviewer noted, it's easy to assemble. It's also light, very easy to manoeuvre, and my son is comfortable in it. As an avid runner, I bought one for my first son because I was very eager to get back out there. This stroller made it easy and I was back in shape in no time. I'm expecting my second son in a few weeks and would have bought a double jogger from Baby Jogger but was generously given a Bob Revolution Duallie. It's gotten great reviews, too, but I loved this stroller so much I was almost disappointed. We'll see! I HIGHLY recommend this stroller. It is definitely worth the price.

I don't like this brand. It is good enough for running but the front wheel wasn't working well and I have gone through three wheels already because their customer service twice sent me the wrong one. The last one is still not good enough. If I had to buy a stroller I wouldn't buy this brand, I am not completely happy with it. For this price it should work perfectly right from the start and it doesn't.

TERRIBLE...THE SECOND TIME I TOOK IT OUT, BOTH BACK TIRES POPPED. THE FABRIC ALSO HAS A CHEMICAL SMELL TO IT THAT DOES NOT GO AWAY WITH TIME OR BEING AIRED OUT. THE SELLER WAS GREAT ABOUT TAKING IT BACK.

I bought this stroller shortly after my son was born and we have enjoyed several months of using it. The stroller is very high quality. It is very plush and comfortable. It is extremely well engineered. With its tight turning radius it is very easy to maneuver around small spaces. It handles very well on rough surfaces -- my son will sleep through any terrain in this stroller!

Runabout Stroller - Harlequin Black

I bought this stroller after we TRIED to take our Peg Perego through a early spring muddy path, and ended up stuck in the mud. After that disaster, we decided we needed a rugged, all-terrain type stroller. The Valco Runabout fits the bill perfectly. It is not a true jogger, nor is it a mall stroller, but it sure is able to handle a woodsy path with uneven terrain very well! We have tested this stroller "off roading", and it has performed flawlessly in our walks through a local metrooark, where we are often seen going "off the beaten track". I give it high marks for being able to handle all but the roughest of terrain.

There are so many nice features to this stroller. I especially like the adjustable handle, and the switchable front wheel. To be able to switch between free swivel, 45 degree swivel, and fixed wheel is a very nice feature.

I like the reflective thread used throughout the stroller, so the stroller can be easily seen at dusk or dawn.

The basket and side bags are roomy enough to hold a UV sun canopy (an optional accessory) and the rain shield. There is no cup holder, but we have been using the Sunshine Kids Buggy Buddy on this stroller and it works perfectly!

I also purchased the toddler seat (optional accessory), and so far, DGS likes it when given the opportunity to ride up front. The seat attaches very easily to the stroller, and fills the bill for an occasional double stroller quite nicely. I would not recommended this stroller for a full-time double stroller. If you are looking for a true double, I would purchase the twin version of this stroller, or look at other options.

All in all, we are very pleased with our Valco Runabout Tri-Mode Stroller in Harlequin Black. This one steers like a dream, and is able to handle the roughest of terrain. It is a great choice if you don't want or need a full time jogging stroller.

Quality
The fabric components of this stroller are very resistant to snags & tears. The canopy (both sides on a double are connected) , under basket, seats, & grab bar are all removable. Snaps, parent's handlebar, frame, foot rests & seat supports are high quality - comparable to a BOB. I do have, however, 4 issues:
1)The storage basket underneath is easy to get caught & start to bend when folding. As long as I'm watching out for this problem, I can prevent it entirely.
2)The kid's grab bar can't stand the test of time- or cold weather. I had 3 - yes THREE - strollers arrive broken where the grab bar inserts (a plastic socket integral to the frame, & thus not easily repaired or replaced). The company points out that though the grab bar is nice - it doesn't affect the real use of the stroller. A note here - UPS was responsible for at least two of these breakages, as the 3rd & 4th strollers send to me were personally double-inspected before shipment.
3)The pin to lock the swivel wheels seems to be a weak point. I had different problems with this on two of the four strollers I've now experienced.
4)The second of the four strollers sent to me came with a used tire! & it didn't even fit on the frame!

Availability
I ordered my "in stock" stroller, & after 2 months of waiting I canceled. Later, I ordered again from another website & received my stroller. One word here - the replacements (3 of them after the 1st was defective) took a total of 4 months to play out.

Customer Support
Okay, here is a shining star amidst the many problems I had. Each time I had a problem, the company was fully on my side to get it resolved. In the end I am satisfied with how they have compensated me.

Product Development
The very best change they have made is to the buckle! Now it comes with a pinch-free system where both sides of the harness snap into the same piece, & unsnap with one step. Trust me - it's much better than the pictures.
Also: The nozzle where you attach your bike pump now sticks out far enough from the tire rims to use a travel-size pump.

Ease of Strolling
For all my complaining, the advertised product is still a fantastic stroller!!! I would still recommend it. It truly does go through snow, over bumps, around shopping carts. The seats recline very deeply or sit up high & with good support for your kids' backs & bums. They are also high off the ground & easy for me to buckle my kids. &, you can buy a car seat adapter.

Size
Don't expect a tiny stroller. If you want ultra light-weight & don't really care a sturdy frame, go with a Combi twin savvy. The trax360 is one of the lightest double joggers. My tall 4 yr old fits still. It fit in the back of a trailblazer-barely. It is still heavy but not near as heavy as the BOB duallie.

Conclusion
If ALL of this happened to one customer - what else is going on? Just so you know, the company has refunded my purchase price (not including shipping), & I get to keep the 4th defective stroller. Apparently I am a rare, if not unique, case & you should not expect to get a refund unless you've got a really good reason.

Like the stroller in use, but it is very big and heavy. The recline is a little difficult as you have to use both hands to lower seat back if child is in the stroller. Also I can not find a sturdy snack tray for this stroller. It also does not have a locking mechan. for it when it is folded. I liked my trimode twin better, but that too was heavy. I am in search of another stroller now.
